Maintenance of electronic cigarette core
As we all know, atomizers can be divided into "finished atomizers" and "RBA reconfigurable atomizers". Correspondingly, atomizing cores can also be divided into "finished" and "RBA" types. The "finished core" is the atomizing core that is uniformly processed by the factory and can be directly replaced by the user. The "RBA Core" is made by itself using materials such as heated silk and cotton.
Factors affecting the life of the atomizing core
Everyone's usage habits and the pursuit of experience effects determine the service life of the atomizing core.
1. Power.
The atomizing core has a certain range of power that can be tolerated. If the output power is set too high, the high temperature generated by the coil will over-evaporate the e-liquid, and the surrounding cotton will not have enough time to replenish the e-liquid, which will lead to "sticky core", which will be scrapped.
2. Smoke oil.
E-liquids with higher sugar content are more likely to "deposit carbon". That is to say, while the coil is atomizing the e-liquid, a black substance is formed on the coil, which will affect the heating efficiency of the coil and the taste of the evaporated smoke, and reduce the taste and performance of the atomizer, similar to the "paste core".
3. Not "running the core".
Before using a new atomizing core, drip an appropriate amount of e-liquid into the cotton around the coil to soak the cotton, that is, "moisten the core". This is to facilitate the atomizing core to absorb the e-liquid more smoothly during the formal use. It generally takes more than 15 minutes to experience before adding the e-liquid directly to the unmoistened core, otherwise it will be easy to "paste the core".
4. High VG e-juice.
The main reason is that the e-liquid is viscous and has poor fluidity, which reduces the oil-conducting performance of the atomizing core, thus causing the "paste core" to reduce the lifespan.
Replacing the atomizing core
1. Judging the taste of e-liquid. During use, the smell of e-juice becomes worse, mixed with a bit of paste (burning cotton), and even a "spicy throat" feeling. Check whether the atomizer core is "pasty". If it happens, it needs to be replaced.
2. Observe the inside of the atomizing core. You can remove the oil tank and observe the inside of the atomizing core to see if the cotton around the coil is burnt, discolored and carbon deposited, and decide whether to replace it according to the situation.
3. Generally speaking, the service life of the finished atomizing core should be about 7 days to half a month. However, due to the different frequency and e-liquid used by each person, the life of the atomizer core is also very different.
4. The service life of the atomizing core is mainly determined by the e-liquid and the output power. Do not apply excessive output power at will, and effectively pursue the perfect "high sugar, high VG" e-liquid, and moisten the core before applying it. Reasonably increase the use period of the atomizing core. Although "carbon deposition" and "paste core" are inevitable, they should be avoided as much as possible. On the other hand, proper disassembly of the atomizer and timely cleaning of the atomizer core can also increase the service life of the atomizer core, thereby reducing application costs.
